Hi ladies - happy February everyone.

Well today the day the UK get to buy Becky Higgins PL stash - not that I need much as my room is still overflowing but need some page protectors and maybe some of the journalling cards.

Have not started on any PL stuff yet, as I've now decided to keep to the format of Document 20** and do it on a monthly basis, but adding in extra pages when I want to.

Thanks for starting the new thread Jackie. Hope you get what you want this afternoon.

I'm enjoying working on PL, currently on week 3. It doesn't seem to use up much supplies though so I'm looking forward to creating some mini albums with past kits once I've caught up. Tempted by the Maggie Holmes kit but looking at the photo I have a very similar match to everything already so will try to make up my own.

I'm up to date with my PL. I'm about to upload week 4 to my blog shortly. I agree though, even though I'm using my kits for it, they don't seem to be going down lol. Really wanted the BH PL stash but will maybe save for it ready for next year.

    Hi all

I'm excited to get some more page protectors for PL. I was lucky and swapped a stamp set with a US subber so she posted me some PL page protectors to start me off! I have completed week 4 so up to date but out of pp!

I'm using my kits too but including lots of photos which of course means less stash is used up! I really need to get scrapping some more baby pics!!

    Ooh, happy February all!

Yes, I got the emails last night, 4pm today for PL! Although I'm a bit worried now even more of Europe can buy it it'll be even more of a dash for it! Lol I won't be doing PL this year but I'm thinking about starting it on my 29th (July 2013) and doing one for my 30th year of life kind of thing. I don't know, it's quite a ways away so I'll probably change my mind 10 times at least!

I'm intrigued by Maggie Holmes new class, but I hate the idea of cutting into books!! I was looking at the kit and thought the colours look very similar to Febs SC kit so if I give it a try I'll just use that instead, what with the extra P&P and all.

Meant to say, I saw your pages on your blog this morning Laura and they look great! See what you mean about not using up as much stash as the Doc albums did though, never thought about that as an issue!

Just had an SC email with $5 off for my birthda y - didn't realise I get a birthday present. I just hope I love this months now, like I ever wouldn't :D

Thought I'd check out the PL stuff, prices mainly - pity we'll be paying postage now. It was my first thought wheh they said it wasn't with Amazon.

I love the look of Maggie's kit but probably won't buy it - certainly not yet as we'd have to pay postage!!

Laura - your pages are always a great form of inspiration, thanks for sharing, and the pages look fab.

If anyone is thinking of Maggie's kit then I think it would ship free this month. My kit isn't showing as shipped & when I added the new kit to my basket no shipping was added. I didn't check out though so can't be certain. Was wondering if shipping would be later this month due to CHA.

They've said it won't ship this month - unless you wait till the end of the month.

How disappointing was PL, in the end!!

Kirsty - it was a nightmare - complete crash - then it was saying won't ship to some address.

I did an order - wanted some PL page protectors and got a box of grid cards, but won't be buying from them again, due to the postage and VAT added at the end. Was going to pre-order a Core kit, but will have to pass. I got more than enough stash that I can manage without these extra cards etc.

Hope you can get on, a lot of the UKS girls are not happy, regarding the price and the postage costs.

    Thank you Jackie.

I think I read somewhere the Class kits are sent separately to the monthly kit but no shipping is applied to Class kits.

I have ordered but it was expensive. Luckily I live close to a scrappy friend who wanted some too, so we could spilt shipping (and a pack of the journalling cards)

I can't help thinking they switched from Amazon in order to profit from the shipping charges!

I decided not to order any in the end, I couldn't believe the shipping charges! Isn't it supposed to be coming from a warehouse in the UK? Pfft, I like the look of them but not that much! If I decide to do a similar style I'll just alter a 6 slot 6x4 holder. I'll look forward to seeing what you all do with them though!

Wowee...I just put the pack of 60 PP and some of the blank journalling cards into my cart and with postage and tax my order is £41.98!! That is crazy...the postage alone is £12! How can they justify that? I so want those PP though...decisions!

I'm using the mixed WRMK page protectors which I find are just as good. They are a darn site cheaper aswell.

I was just going to get the design a pockets, a pack of 12 was £6.50. I thought that would be great with about £4 postage - £6.50 to post it to me, rediculous.

I'm just so guttered about it as it's the only place to buy them over here. I am so sorry for those of you who really wanted it, or needed it - Jackie and Laura - I was thinking of you both when I saw the prices as I know you'd both started with the pp.

I said the same thing Laura - profiting from the postage, knowing people have no choice.

Such a let down after such a build up!!!!

I was in a sad mood earlier and forgot to say I love your pages so far Laura - they look great :D

£6.50 I could deal with but I am £12 Naim!! I Have started my PL with the PP too as I got some sent from the US and don't want to change now. Would anyone consider splitting postage with me and then posting my goodies on up here to Scotland? I think even with that it would be cheaper than £12 for me!

Kirsty - I just added 60 pockets and blank cards to my order to test it and the postage is the same for me. Mine would cost £10.85, which doesn't sound too bad but yours would be £31.85 plus postage from me to you. Not sure what that would be????

Feel a bit annoyed to give them my money now though!!!

Perhaps they thought that was cheap for us!! Who knows, I'm just sorry for those who really wanted/needed items and had to pay it. I just fancied them really. I bought the similar WRMK pp from SC, but it's just fun to have variety in the album.

I'm in no rush Kirsty, so think about it. I'm happy to help out if you want, but hopefully you'll get a better offer from someone nearby!!

Laura - just looked closer at you lovely PL - are you moving house???? Sorry, just being nosey :D Hope it's all going well if you are xx

Kirsty - have you read their blog with the explanation regarding VAT and postage. I thought it was way too much but when I read the blog post I decided it wasn't as bad. I personally think that we are spoilt with SC purchases and I expected it to be around £5.00 but hadn't taken into account the VAT the as to be added.
