I'm loving that its going to be around 73* today here in California and I'm off soon to get my horrible gray roots taken care of at a hair appointment. Always a happy day for me!

Thanks for asking this. I really needed to find the bright and light of my day. We're moving in 2 days and I was supposed to be home packing boxes today and tomorrow. Instead my poor 2 y.o girl is really sick with the flu. I'm panicking about those boxes not being packed in time. BREATH and think... The happy today was having lunch with my son, just the two of us, while little sister took a nap.

good old military dental insurance. made the mistake of taking all five kiddos to the dentist today. i am so grateful for great insurance for my family. we have plenty of other stuff to worry about, sigh.

Well, I know these are supposed to be happy threads, but today just stinks. Found out today that the job offer that came through in October, was then held due to a federal protest was resolved today... not in my favor. So, the company that hired me, lost the contract and I have no job. Is it wrong to just want to be sad for a while and not look for the damn silver lining?

I got a great email from a professor yesterday and now I'm much more excited (as opposed to terrified) of all the cool stuff coming up in the near future.

Living in California where it is in the mid 70s today.

It's sunny and in the 70's here in central Arkansas when it's usually cold and yucky! Feels like spring!

i just got the result from my last uni assignment and I got 32.5 out of 35 so I'm pretty damn happy about that!

Especially considering this is only my 2nd unit back to study after a 15 year hiatus!

I'm pretty excited about the lovely day we've had here in KY! It's been a sunny day, 60s, and breezy. Totally ideal, considering I'm giving up on snow haha.

i'm really happy to be working with my first SC kit! i just wish i had some extra paper because i am loving both sides.

Its beautiful outside, I was able to visit with my dad during my lunch break and see my pups (who currently live with him), and tonight I have a date night with my boyfriend. Oh! and im scheduling a fun Vegas trip with my bff. :)

I was thrilled to have a locked in patient spell out a joke for me today!

I listened to my daughter's band concert at the music festival this afternoon. Awww, so sweet. :):):)

My baby girl turned sweet 16 today!

I HIT THE HIGH C in choir tonight. I haven't done that since College AND my voice is still cracking from my recent cold!

i just finished seeing the vienna boys choir in concert. amazing. definitely a happy spot in my day!

i know it's thursday now... but :

a new hoodie - perfect for a gray day.
a cold diet coke and hopes of getting a page done today.
a little dude with a big imagination who needs me to go play with him. =)

getting a little time to myself before little dude wakes up
hubby's off work so he can help me out with said little dude
a morning trip to the art supply store (by myself!!)
not feeling tired at all this morning, ready to get this day started!
